The AS2 is
a self-powered dual eighteen inch subwoofer, designed to meet the
demand for compact, high-powered, ultra-low frequency subwoofers
for touring and other professional use.
The integral
Class D amplifier is a very low noise, efficient design eliminating
the need for a fan and making AC power requirements much lower than
conventional designs and well within the reach of most venues.
Built in band-pass
filtering, processing and a limiter optimises the amplified signal
to the loudspeakers and provides protection.
A buffered output
is provided to link multiple AS2’s together with a further
high pass buffered output provided to link the AS2 to a powered
mid/high system.
The AS2 has
a wide dynamic range coupled with a high crest factor for true sounding
low frequency reproduction.
