We have the pleasure to announce that D-PAC will continue as a part of New Smart System. A new manufacturing unit in Poland is established providing us with cost-effective and high quality products for todays demanding market.
In near future, a number of new products will be launched, including updated versions of current models.

In Norway, our local dealer has provided Audio-One (one of the leading rental companies in Norway) with 2 pcs. AS-2's for use as drumfill. In Ghana, our local distributor has supplied 4 pcs. AS-2's to the leading rental company TLC Company. In Denmark, we have provided a number of rental companies with MP-81 for use with a.o. theater troup, AM-1/AS-1 for use with mobile-discos. In Ukraine, we have worked with an international installation company, providing AM-2/AS-2 setup in a new concert hall. Just to mention a few.

Horn loading
At D-PAC Audio, we work hard to provide the best and most accurate tool for the sound engineer. This is why we chose to use horn-loaded drivers instead of coaxial drivers. By using horn-loaded drivers, you can better control the dispersion in the working range of the compression driver, than if you use a coaxial mounted compression driver. That is due to the beaming effect and lack of control, which all coaxial drivers inherit from the short conical horn loading.

Real switchable act/pas
When designing loudspeakers for use in active and passive designs, it is most common just to provide a switch that engages the 2+/2- connections on the input. In today’s DSP world, however, it is necessary to provide a full bypass of the entire passive crossover, and provide direct input from the input connections to the loudspeakers, without having the passive crossover interfering with the load on the amplifier (and phase response of the loudspeaker). That is real active/passive switching!
