MP series launched

The official launch of the MP series took place during the Frankfurt ProLight+Sound 2003 exhibition.

Besides looking good, the MP series provide outstanding sound quality in a compact and light package.

The MP series currently consist of the MP-81 and the MP-152, however, new models are planned with a MP-101 and a MP-122. To supplement the system as a selfpowered option, an AS-8 sub is in development, providing amplification for both the sub and the MP speaker.

For the first time, D-PAC Audio were exhibiting at the worlds largest exhibition for professional sound and light.

Danmarks Radio (DR) buys 16ch. Lectrosonics wireless system

Danmarks Radio, Denmark’s national broadcaster, has purchased 16 channels of new Lectrosonics wireless microphone systems and active antenna splitters from Lectrosonics representative Dansk P.A. Center A/S. The UDR300 studio receivers and UM300B belt-pack transmitters are the European versions of the well known and proven 200 Series system that has been the preferred wireless in Hollywood and with American broadcasters for many years. The unmatched quality was a key issue along with the sophisticated computer control software with RF site scanning and walk test measurements. The systems are to be used on mobile production carts in TV production in studio and on location. All 16 channels are designed to work in the 800-820 MHz in two 8-channel sets or in adjacent studios together as 16 channels.

It is also with great pleasure, that we can announce that the Danish institution VEGA, has purchased 4 pcs. AS-2 to be used as supplement to their current d&b system, drumfill, sidefill and other purposes. Read pressrelease..

During the last 6 months, a lot of different sound companies has carried out tests and are extremely pleased with the results. A.o. Victory Tour Production, who are using EAW KF 750 boxes, purchased AS-2 to be used as a.o. drumfill etc.

On the 2002 Roskilde Festival that took place end of June - D-PAC were present as drumfill on main stage (orange) and as center sub on white stage. Read more on who and what here.... (update coming) (read references)

We have a new version of the PDF document ready, with more detailed description of the AM-2 available now. This new PDF includes also a frequency response curve.

It is still preliminary information, however, but we work towards releasing a product that do not need "upgrades", "fixes", "updated mk II" labels attached. It is our aim, to secure your investment in our products the best way, giving you the best available tool for optimizing profits in the future.

The first verisions of the AS-2 has now been roadtested under severe conditions and proves to be reliable, unkillable and extremely well sounding.
